1. Humpback whales

BRAHSS 10-11 is being conducted off Peregian Beach on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland (Australia), which is an ideal location for studying humpback whales.

The yearly migration now includes approximately 5500 individuals, of which about half travel southward within 10 km of the coastline during the peak period, providing the perfect opportunity to capture these magnificant creatures on camera.
